Dir, Ofc of Petroleum, Natural Gas & Bio Analysis
The Director, Office of Office of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Analysis reports to the Assistant Administrator for Energy Analysis and is responsible for:
- Providing executive leadership and direction for petroleum, natural gas and biofuels analyses as part of EIA’s comprehensive energy supply and demand data collection, analysis and dissemination program
- Determining the Office’s annual strategic priorities, anticipating and planning for future requests for Office-related analyses
- Allocating resources and overseeing the program activities of several functional teams managed by senior-level (GS-15 or equivalent) supervisory subject matter experts
- Experience in leading technical analyses of petroleum, natural gas, refining, and/or biofuels energy markets that encompass both historical and projected factors such as policies, energy prices, and technologies.
- Experience in leading an energy modeling function, (such as model development, maintenance, documentation), for petroleum, natural gas, and bio-fuels that project energy supply and demand.
- Experience in leading data synthesis efforts to derive inputs for energy modeling, analysis, and/or supplementing EIA survey data by applying descriptive and/or inferential statistical methods to administrative and/or proprietary energy data.

management of the Railroad Retirement Board and is the chief budget
consultant to the three member board. The CFO oversees and manages the
development of a financial management planning and reporting process and
