Facebook has activated its Safety Check feature for Nice, France, after a truck rammed into a crowd in the city during a Bastille Day parade, killing and injuring dozens.
The Safety Check feature lets users notify others on Facebook that they're safe following a dangerous event in the area, such as an earthquake, mass shooting or explosion.
Facebook has activated the feature in different situations across the planet, from terrorist attacks in Paris that left 130 dead in November to, recently, a mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, that left 49 dead.
